The Beauty of Starting Over

Spring Notes

The Beauty of
Starting Over

Starting over can feel uncomfortable at first. People often talk about fresh starts like they arrive wrapped in confidence and certainty, but sometimes they actually arrive quietly — after disappointment, exhaustion, change, or realizing the version of life you once wanted no longer fits who you are becoming.

I think one of the hardest parts about beginning again is letting go of the pressure to have everything figured out immediately. Growth is rarely linear. Most people are rebuilding parts of themselves while still trying to function through everyday life at the same time.

This season has reminded me that starting over isn’t always failure. Sometimes it’s wisdom. Sometimes it’s finally listening to yourself. Sometimes it’s deciding you deserve a softer life, a calmer home, healthier routines, or a future that feels more aligned than the one you were forcing yourself to stay attached to.

There is something beautiful about giving yourself permission to begin again.
