Spring Notes
Protecting Your
Peace
The older I get, the more I realize that peace is something you have to intentionally protect. Not everyone deserves unlimited access to your energy, your home, your thoughts, or your time. Constant noise, pressure, comparison, and emotional chaos can quietly drain you if youāre not careful.
Protecting your peace sometimes looks simple from the outside. Turning your phone off earlier. Spending less time arguing online. Saying no without overexplaining yourself. Choosing slower weekends. Keeping your home calm. Being more selective about what you consume mentally and emotionally.
I think many people are beginning to realize that a peaceful life is worth more than constantly trying to keep up with everyone else. Peace may not always look exciting online, but it changes the way your everyday life feels when you finally have it.
Sometimes protecting your peace is the most important form of self-respect there is.
