Partnership Terms

These terms outline how partnerships operate within The Livable Forest® ecosystem. This structure is designed to protect partner value, maintain category integrity, and ensure a consistent experience for the community.

1. Partnership Structure

The Livable Forest® operates on a tiered partnership model with defined levels of placement and visibility.

Presenting Partner platform-wide priority and top-level visibility
Category Partner exclusive ownership within a defined business category
Participation Placements (including THE HUNT and other activations) non-exclusive, engagement-based visibility

Each level serves a different purpose and is structured to work together within the ecosystem.

2. Category Exclusivity & Protection

Select partnerships include exclusive category ownership. When a category is secured by a Presenting or Category Partner:

No direct competitors will be placed within that category
This applies across all platform features, including THE HUNT and participation-based placements
Category protection is maintained for the full duration of the agreement

This structure ensures that partners investing at higher levels receive clear, protected positioning.

3. Participation-Based Placements

Participation-based placements, including THE HUNT, are designed to create engagement and real-world interaction.

These placements:

Do not grant category exclusivity
Do not reserve or guarantee future category ownership
Operate within the boundaries of the overall partnership structure

Participation is subject to availability and may be limited to maintain quality and experience.

4. Term & Duration

All partnerships are based on a defined term, typically 12 months unless otherwise specified.

Partnerships begin on the agreed start date
Benefits and placements are fulfilled throughout the active term
Renewal is not automatic and is subject to availability

5. Category Transitions & Priority

The Livable Forest® maintains a structured hierarchy to preserve partner value.

Presenting and Category Partnerships take priority over participation placements
If a category becomes exclusively held, participation-based placements in that category may not be renewed
Existing agreements will be honored through their active term

Where possible, alternative placement options may be offered.

6. Adjustments & Reassignment

To maintain the integrity of the ecosystem, The Livable Forest® reserves the right to:

Adjust placement structure based on category ownership
Reassign participation-based placements where necessary
Limit or refine category access to preserve exclusivity

These adjustments are made to protect long-term partner value and platform consistency.

7. Payment & Refund Policy

All partnership payments secure placement within the ecosystem for the agreed term.

Payments are non-refundable once a partnership is active
Adjustments to placement do not constitute grounds for refund
Fulfillment of agreed visibility and access satisfies partnership obligations

This ensures stability for all partners within the platform.

8. Eligibility & Approval

Not all businesses are eligible for all placements.

All partnerships are subject to review and approval
Category alignment and brand fit are considered
Placement may be declined to maintain ecosystem quality

The Livable Forest® is a structured, founder-led ecosystem designed for long-term partner value, not one-time visibility.

These terms exist to ensure that every partner benefits from a clear, protected, and consistent environment.
