Letting the Light Back In

Spring Notes

Letting the
Light Back In

Sometimes we don’t even realize how heavy life has started to feel until something small shifts. The windows are open again. The weather softens. Music sounds better. The house feels brighter. You suddenly remember what it feels like to breathe a little deeper.

I think spring has a quiet way of reminding people that life is always moving, even after difficult seasons. Nothing stays cold forever. Nothing stays heavy forever. There’s always another chance to begin again, even if it happens slowly.

Lately, I’ve been trying to let more light back into my life in simple ways. More rest. More quiet mornings. More laughter in the kitchen. More walks outside. More moments that feel grounding instead of overwhelming.

Maybe healing isn’t always dramatic. Maybe sometimes it simply looks like opening the curtains and letting the light back in.
